I believe everything posted was very logical. But, think on this, what if you added a little information? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your website, however suppose you added something that makes people want more?
I mean My Confidential Notebook is a little plain. You could peek at Yahoo's home page and see how they create article headlines to grab people to click. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to grab people interested about what you've written. Just my opinion, it would make your website a little livelier.
